In an effort to accommodate the rediculously deep mattresses that some companies are putting out today, some mattress covers have sides that are so deep that unless you have one of these monster mattresses you wind up with an excess of fabric that is all baggy around the sides and allows the cover to slip and slide instead of lying nicely fitted. I see this as a serious drawback. Let people who buy these odd sized mattresses buy extra deep mattress covers to fit them. Don’t force everyone to buy ill fitting mattress covers in order to provide a one size fits all product. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

My wife loves it and she’s the original “princess and the pea” personna. She’s used it 3 weeks now and zero complaints; so I guess it’s OK with me.
Personally, I think it could be a little thicker (more filling?).

Incredibly nice mattress pad for the $$. Fits bed nicely. Doesn’t have that paper stuff on the sides that splits when you pull on it!! Nice fullness to the top. Very comfortable. Haven’t washed it yet. But not worried about it.
